SPARC is the creation of Melissa Tremblay, and Kim Kuruzovich, chair and vice-chair respectively of STand-Pinellas. The first SPARC was held in August of 2006. The acronym SPARC stands for STAND-Pinellas Accessing Resources Conference. SPARC's goal is to seek out and provide parents, teachers, therapists and other professionals with resources that will help their children make achievements in all aspects of life. While we focus on children with special needs, we believe these resources are just as valuable to all children.
